5 These crystals are great! I've mixed them into the compost in all my plant containers which are on a sunny patio. This helps them to retain moisture, saves water & prevents the containers from drying out. I've also dug some of them into a sunny border where i'm growing vegetables to help retain moisture, as well as mixing some in my seed trays to help keep the compost moist. A little goes a long way. —Wendy Strathdee
